Woodrun offers much for the outdoorsmen but also for the athlete. Mostly, opportunity for our residents to get some physical exercise. Our Sport Complex near the Postal Plaza offers tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, basketball, horse shoe, hiking trails, walking track and an obstacle course. Our 13 miles of paved roads with challenging hills, are perfect for the runner walker.

Woodrun’s Boat Launch has kayak racks for member use. First come/first serve basis. There is a bridge that leads to convenient fishing holes. A picnic area and seating overlooking the lake.

Our lakefront boat docks, in front of the clubhouse, have a gravel walking trail that is great for sunrise and sunset strolls, golf cart access to your leased boat slip. But most of all, FISHING, from said docks. Many of folk have caught monster catfish from Woodrun’s boat docks. There’s a large grass hill with shady picnic area, you can play Frisbee or football, romp with your dog. A large lakefront deck with covered pavilion boasts of the best sunsets and good times with friends and neighbors. There is also a children’s playground that overlooks the pool and lake. Complete with picnic tables.

Woodrun’s Swimming Pool is open Memorial Day through September. 10am until 10pm. A spacious pool, 5 ft. at its deepest with a 2 ft. section for small children. Adjacent to the pavilion & deck, with panoramic views of Lake Tillery. Snack Shack stocked with sodas, ice cream, and concessions for purchase. Woodrun apparel and gift shop items also available for purchase. Bathhouses for men & women. Lounge chairs and picnic tables with umbrellas.
